# Get started with Siglata

Paste this into your AI: “Set up Siglata for my company: siglata.com/en-US/start”. It follows the steps on this page. You only sign in and authorize the connection.

## For the AI

You are going to connect Siglata as an MCP server. The address is `https://www.siglata.com/v1/mcp`: Streamable HTTP with OAuth, no API key. Find which client you are in and follow its section. The person only does what that section tells you to ask of them.

## Codex

Run these commands in the terminal. The second one opens sign-in in the browser; if no page opens, send the person the link it prints.

```sh
codex mcp add siglata --url https://www.siglata.com/v1/mcp
codex mcp login siglata
```

It's done when `codex mcp list` shows siglata as connected. The tools appear in the next session. The full steps, with Siglata's skill, are at [https://www.siglata.com/en-US/SKILL.md](https://www.siglata.com/en-US/SKILL.md).

## Claude Code

Run these commands in the terminal. The second one opens sign-in in the browser; if no page opens, send the person the link it prints.

```sh
claude mcp add --transport http -s user siglata https://www.siglata.com/v1/mcp
claude mcp login siglata
```

It's done when `claude mcp list` shows siglata as connected. The tools appear in the next session. The full steps, with Siglata's skill, are at [https://www.siglata.com/en-US/SKILL.md](https://www.siglata.com/en-US/SKILL.md).

## Claude on the web and in the apps

In Claude on the web and in the apps, the AI can't add connectors on its own. Ask the person to:

1. Open “Customize”, then “Connectors”.
2. Click “+ Add” and then “Add custom connector”.
3. Name it Siglata, paste the address `https://www.siglata.com/v1/mcp`, and click “Continue” and then “Add”.
4. Click “Connect”, sign in to Siglata and authorize.
5. In a chat, click “+”, then “Connectors”, and turn Siglata on.

On Team and Enterprise, whoever manages the account adds the connector under “Organization settings” and “Connectors”; each person then clicks “Connect”. Claude's free plan allows one custom connector.

## ChatGPT

In ChatGPT, the AI can't add servers on its own. Ask the person to do this step in ChatGPT on the web:

1. Open “Plugins”, click “+” and then “Add custom MCP server”.
2. Name it Siglata and paste the address `https://www.siglata.com/v1/mcp`.
3. Under authentication, choose OAuth, accept the warning and click “Create as a plugin”.
4. Find the Siglata plugin in your personal plugins, or in the workspace where it was created, and install it.
5. Sign in to Siglata and authorize, as in “At sign-in and authorization”.
6. In a chat, type @ and pick Siglata.

If the option isn't there, the ChatGPT plan or workspace doesn't allow custom servers. In that case, use Codex: it comes with every ChatGPT plan.

## At sign-in and authorization

A Siglata page opens and asks to connect your AI.

1. Sign in with your email, and Siglata sends you a sign-in link, or click “Continue with Google”.
2. On your first sign-in, Siglata creates your account and a free company, already active. If someone has already invited you to a company, Siglata doesn’t create another: first accept the invitation you got by email.
3. The page lists what the AI will be able to do in the company. If you have more than one company, pick the right one.
4. Click “Authorize”.

## After connecting

The AI confirms Siglata is connected and carries on with your request. The connection is for the company chosen when you authorized it. To see the company and the connected AIs, sign in at [https://www.siglata.com/en-US/app/](https://www.siglata.com/en-US/app/).
