Which branch sold the most in August? Your agent answers from all four spreadsheets

Ask the agent about every company spreadsheet at once and get the exact number, with the workbook and sheet it came from.

Every spreadsheet you upload is ready to query. The agent answers about ten workbooks in one question, reading the actual cells, and says which file each number came from.

Which branch sold the most in August? Today, to answer that, someone opens each branch's spreadsheet, copies the total, pastes it into a third spreadsheet and checks it again. With Siglata you ask the agent and get the number with the workbook and sheet it came from. The agent couldn't help before, because spreadsheets were built for a person to open one at a time. Siglata rebuilds that tool so the agent can do the whole job.

Upload your company's spreadsheets to Siglata: Excel files (.xlsx and .xlsm) and .csv. Each one is ready to query shortly after. Then you ask in plain language, and the agent answers across all of them at once.

The agent reads the actual cells, with each one's value, date and format. It doesn't recalculate formulas or guess what a number means, so it can tell you where the answer came from, down to the workbook and sheet. AI can make mistakes, and the cited source is what lets you check in seconds.

Each person sees only the spreadsheets they may read. A restricted folder stays restricted when the question comes through the agent.

Mogiana Distribuidora, a fictional company, keeps one sales workbook per branch: vendas-sao-paulo.xlsx, vendas-ribeirao.xlsx, vendas-franca.xlsx and vendas-uberaba.xlsx, each with a Vendas sheet for July and August 2026. Helena, the owner, asks Codex:

“Which of our branches sold the most in August 2026? Give the branch and the amount.”

The agent queries all four workbooks in one question and answers: São Paulo, with R$ 540,000.00, from the Vendas sheet of vendas-sao-paulo.xlsx.

Helena goes on:

“What was the total across the four branches in August? Did Franca do better or worse than in July?”

Answer: R$ 1,300,000.00 in total. Franca fell R$ 10,000.00, from R$ 250,000.00 in July to R$ 240,000.00 in August.

Helena checks the Franca row once and moves on. Nobody opened a spreadsheet.

When a question becomes routine, ask the agent to save it as a company query. Anyone on the team asks for it by name next week and sees the same number, each with their own access.

Questions across all your spreadsheets work today in Codex and Claude Code. Connect your agent with one line, upload the spreadsheets and ask. The agent queries spreadsheets of up to 1,500,000 cells, and a company starts with 10 GiB of queryable spreadsheets, raised by agreement.
