Activation and limits

See when a company starts and how much it holds.

Every company on Siglata has the same operations, with no limit on people. A new company starts inactive: the agent reads principal_get, and every other operation answers organization_inactive with Siglata’s WhatsApp link, until Siglata staff activate the company. Siglata staff (suporte@siglata.com) are a member of every company with the staff role, and no one in the company can remove them or change their role.

Limits apply to the whole company. Siglata staff can raise them to what is agreed with the company.

At the limit

• Files: any file type is accepted, up to 83,886,080,000 bytes each (78.125 GiB), and counts toward the company’s files, trash included. Without room, an upload fails with the quota_exceeded error, which states the limit and how to make room. Nothing is deleted: files stay available to read, query and download.
• Spreadsheets the agent queries: the cells read from spreadsheets and the tables the agent creates count here. Without room, uploads keep working: the file is stored with status limit_reached, its message carries the limit, and Siglata reads it on its own, oldest first, as soon as there is room, whether Siglata staff raise the limit or files or tables are deleted. Tables and records in the trash keep counting until they are erased, with purge or on their own 30 days later.
• Large spreadsheets: a spreadsheet over the cell or size limit is stored with status too_large and stays downloadable, but the agent does not query its cells. See the statuses in Spreadsheets with SQL.
• Credits: the company shares one balance across social_* operations, audio transcription and portal browser time. Before calling the provider, Siglata reserves credits for the recording cost or the call or session limit. Available credits already exclude that reservation. On completion it charges the actual cost and releases the remainder; a failed charge write fails the operation. Abandoned reservations expire after one hour and are released by the hourly job. Monthly credits renew on the 1st at 00:00 São Paulo time, and unused credits do not carry over. With too few credits for the reservation, the operation refuses with CREDITS_EXHAUSTED before calling the provider.
